I can now understand why many game developers find marketing challenging, but it&#8217;s an essential part of the process. With January here, I&#8217;m diving back into work with renewed energy. If not, you can do so here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2737960\/Rise_of_the_Village_Hero\/\">https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2737960\/Rise_of_the_Village_Hero\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day-to-day still on holiday blues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, running a solo indie studio is quite demanding. Coupled with the holiday season and the bustling household with our son, it became quite challenging to maintain productivity. However, we&#8217;re gradually getting back into our routine. Typically, in the mornings, I either handle marketing tasks or address minor fixes. The rest of the day presents its own set of challenges, especially with a lively house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On most days, I aim to intertwine marketing activities with game development tasks. This involves adding new assets, refining levels, and creating intriguing areas for players to explore. One concept I&#8217;m particularly excited about is the idea of mushrooms sprouting in a corner, containing a drop of a powerful sword. However, reaching it might come at the cost of some damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m eagerly looking forward to expanding on future chapters and enhancing the existing ones. Early access has been a fantastic platform for me, especially as a solo indie developer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My typical workday spans from 6:30 AM to around 3 PM. I&#8217;ve been contemplating the idea of utilizing Trello to structure my day more efficiently. Currently, I rely on a notebook, which serves its purpose but could be improved upon. What tools or methods do you use to plan your day?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a final note, I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and is geared up for a fantastic new year.
