Ludus Pax Studios Games Showcased at Osaka Expo 2025

Published by Silviu on

Hey everyone!

I’m really proud to share that Ludus Pax, my solo game development studio, will be featured as part of a broader showcase highlighting the amazing work of indie and other studios across Scotland.
You can watch the showreel here.

I also made a video on my studio’s YouTube channel:

A special showreel has been put together to represent Scottish game development on an international stage—specifically in Japan! I’m honoured that both of my games, Path to Serenity and Rise of the Village Hero (my first commercial RPG), have been included.

Path to Serenity is a cosy walking simulator about Jim, a man who’s lost sight of what truly matters after becoming stuck in a cycle of overwork and disconnection. At the start, he sees life through the muted tones of his emotions—mostly blues and greys. As players join him on his journey, they’ll gradually rediscover colour, beauty, and a renewed sense of purpose.

While I don’t expect a huge surge in traffic to my pages, it means the world to know that my work is being recognised and shared as part of something bigger—representing Scotland’s indie dev scene with pride.

That’s all for this update—thank you so much for reading, and I’ll see you in the next one!
